Companies and citizens are complaining about a growing burden on the state. Sabine Kuhlmann, Professor of Administrative Knowledge, explains why Germany is unnecessarily complicated.

The current European Commission (EC), which has been in office for more than 100 days, has set itself the goals of reforming the EU economy during its term – improving the investment climate, increasing competitiveness, ensuring ecologically clean and sustainable industry, and efficient agriculture. Marius Vasčega, Head of the EC Representation in Lithuania, says that in this context, it is planned to reduce the notorious Eurobureaucracy.
