In France, the 266 employees of the Foundry of Brittany can blow. The Rennes commercial court gave its green light to the takeover of the site by Europlasma. This former subsidiary of the Renault automotive group located in Caudan, in the west of France, will now manufacture shells.

On Friday 25 April, the Rennes commercial court validated Europlasma's takeover of the car parts factory. The French group intends to reorient the site towards the production of fuel oil, a symbol of the recent interest of manufacturers for armament throughout Europe.

The Foundries de Bretagne will pass from exhausts and other speed boxes to the manufacture of shells. The Tribunal de Commerce de Rennes has just given its green light to the acquisition of the company of Caudan by the Europlasma group. 266 of the 286 employees of the site Morbihannais will be taken over.
