The Ukrainian army carried out a drone attack on the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant. Russia said in a statement, "By carrying out attacks on the plant, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are directly violating the principles set by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC)."

The IAEA continues to monitor and assess nuclear safety at five major nuclear facilities in Ukraine.
