Freed climate scientist sentenced in the Court of Appeal

The climate scientist was involved in blocking traffic in central Stockholm twice. In the district court he was acquitted of "disobedience to the authorities" in a verdict that was described as historic - but now he has been convicted in the Court of Appeal.

Two protesters from climate action group Extinction Rebellion will go to court on Tuesday to challenge a ban on their area. This was reported by Willem Jebbink, the protesters' lawyer. They received this ban last week from the mayor of Haarlemmermeer for repeatedly disturbing public order.
