A Santa Ana man was sentenced to 23 years in prison Thursday, April 24, after he distributed fentanyl to a 17-year-old girl who died from an overdose. A 25-year-old Santa Ana man with a previous felony conviction was sentenced Thursday to 23 years in federal prison for dealing fentanyl to a 17-year-old girl who died. Anthony Aguirre sold 10 pills containing fentanyl to the victim and two of her friends on Sept. 30, 2022, in Fullerton, according to his plea agreement.
