Sixteen counties, city of Bristol eligible for disaster assistance

Federal disaster assistance has been made available for 16 Southwest Virginia counties and the city of Bristol to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe winter storms and flooding from Feb. 10-18.

Disaster declaration covers 17 Virginia localities, with 16 more still under review
