One of the most harmful invasive agricultural pests, the Fall Armyworm has been detected in Fiji. The Biosecurity Authority of Fiji (BAF) states this pest poses a significant risk to Fiji’s food security and economy due to its preference for crops such as maize, rice, sugarcane, and vegetables.
