Florida woman poses as ICE agent to kidnap wife of ex-boyfriend from work, authorities say
- Latrance Battle, 52, was arrested for impersonating an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer and attempting to kidnap her ex-boyfriend's wife from her job on April 10, according to the Bay County Sheriff's Office.
- The victim believed Battle was a real ICE agent and was scared to resist, as she is in the process of becoming a legal U.S. Resident.
- The kidnapping ended when the victim escaped from Battle's apartment, calling for help from a neighbor who provided shelter until law enforcement arrived.
- Battle is facing multiple charges, including kidnapping in commission of a felony and impersonating a law enforcement officer.
