Climbing rangers rescue goose stranded on Mount Shasta
SISKIYOU COUNTY, Calif. (KOBI/KTVZ) – A goose is safe after attempting to summit Mt. Shasta last month. While on a routine patrol, climbing rangers with the Mount Shasta Avalanche Center spotted the goose at the 10,000-foot elevation point where Old Ski Bowl is located. That’s according to a Facebook post by the Shasta-Trinity National Forest.
