Former MPS employee and city councilman changes plea to guilty for solicitation of a minor

MINOT, ND (KXNET) -- A former Minot City Council member and former Minot Public School employee has changed his plea. Benjamin Berg, of Minot, entered a guilty plea for the solicitation of a minor. Berg originally pleaded not guilty and was released on Bond. However, on Friday, he changed his plea to Guilty in Ward County court.The original felony charge is now a Class A Misdemeanor.
