Gabriella Jakupcsek has canceled her participation in the Women's Success Day conference after it was revealed that Péter Magyar would also be speaking at the event. The Tisza Party leader, who was previously accused of verbal and physical abuse by his ex-wife, will now appear at a roundtable discussion on fathers and supporting women's career development.

The host justified this by saying that "an event that becomes political is not his field."

Péter Magyar could be sentenced to up to five years in prison.

Jakupcsek wrote that "an event that becomes political is not his field," and Magyar said that "I would in no way like to be an obstacle to an event on a topic that I consider to be of particular importance."

Both have canceled, neither Gabriella Jakupcsek nor Péter Magyar will participate in Women's Success Day - according to Alexandra Szentkirályi, the politician didn't have the face to scare away all women.
