Romain Febvre claimed first MXGP win of the season in Sardinia

Slovenian motocross rider Tim Gajser finished fifth in the first race of the World Championship race in Sardinia, but still remained firmly in the lead of the MXGP elite class. The first race of the fourth race of the season was won by Belgian Lucas Coenen, while Slovenian Jan Pancar was 16th.

MXGP motocross rider Tim Gajser (Honda) won the qualifying for the Sardinian Grand Prix in Riola Sardo. He was followed by Belgian Lucas Coenen (KTM) and Spaniard Ruben Fernandez (Honda). Jan Pancar (KTM) was 14th.
