Get part of the church tax as a Christmas gift

2,600 people in Hoyvík parish receive Christmas presents from TAKS. They get part of the church tax back. They get it because the church tax rate was set at 0.85 and not 0.60, which was right. The 2,600 people have therefore paid 0.25 percentage points too much in church tax last year. They will get the money back on Customs Fair Day, says TAKS.
