George McGrath has been documenting his season on the River Suir. It started cold and dreary but then started to pick up and he had been enjoying some entertaining nymph fishing. At the weekend though the weather improved significantly and he had some lovely dryfly fishing. There were a few olives hatching the the trout came really well to he small olive fished on a 7x leader. George has included the tying of the fly that made it all happen below
