Will inheritance tax be abolished? Here's the government's position

Prime Minister Petteri Orpo (Kok) has set up a working group within the government to pave the way for a mid-term election. The abolition of inheritance tax does not seem likely at the moment.

The Tax Agency has announced some changes and bonuses regarding inheritance taxes that will take place during the same year and will vary according to the Autonomous Community. Starting with Andalusia, where the heirs of Group I and II will not have to pay taxes on inheritances less than 1 million euros. On the other hand, 65% of the inheritances below 100,000 euros will be subsidized in Aragon.
