22 p.m. Government laments times of violence at the 25th April festivals

In communication, the Ministry of Internal Administration expresses its full solidarity with the PSP.

“The Government has been monitoring, together with the police and security authorities, the situation of the different demonstrations and the unfolding of the events on the streets, greeting the many thousands of Portuguese who today demonstrated in a peaceful and orderly manner in various parts of the national territory”, can be read in a statement from the Ministry of Internal Administration (MAI).
