The Government has detailed, in a written response in Congress to the People’s Group, its strategy on the follow-up plan for long childhood cancer survivors. The Ministry of Health’s approach is that, according to the 2025 work plan of the National Health System’s Cancer Strategy, “this year” will take place “the design, elaboration and consensus of the model.”

According to the World Health Organization, Mexico has approximately seven thousand new cases of cancer in children and adolescents; in this regard, the city of Tijuana is no exception. “Childhood cancer is on the rise.
