Cases of measles in Japan are increasing, with many patients believed to have been infected with the highly contagious disease overseas.

In view of the resurgence of measles cases in various parts of the country, the Ministry of Health of Guanajuato (SSG) maintains intensive monitoring in its 632 medical units, as well as in hospitals in Pemex, Sedena, IMSS and ISSSTE, without any confirmed cases having been detected in the state so far.
