NORTHBOROUGH, Mass.— Colorado Mesa University freshman goalie Heather Hawkins has been named as the NCAA Division II Defensive Player of the Week by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association, which made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon.  The honor comes a day after the Palmer Lake, Colorado native had been named as the Rocky  Mountain Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week.
