A Ventura County man was convicted of raping a woman with Alzheimer’s disease.  Joseph Lynn Johnson, 45, of Port Hueneme, was convicted of the crime after he was caught having sex with a woman who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease in February 2020, according to the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office. Joseph Lynn Johnson, was convicted of the Feb. 2020 rape of the victim at her home in Port Hueneme.

The victim had been recognized since 2019 as a grade 1 dependency for which she received weekly home care.
