Criminals are systematically exploiting the assistance industry to extract money, according to a new report. “It is very serious and must be stopped,” says Sophie Karlsson, chairwoman of the Interest Group for Assistance Entitled. She also fears that people in need of help are now finding themselves in a bind in the hunt for criminals.
