Homes of the elderly who allegedly operate without a license are raided

The Department of the Family (DF) and the Police intervened this Monday in a nursing home in Carolina that allegedly operated without a license. According to Telenoticias, the daughter of an older adult reported irregularities, including financial exploitation, so the relevant authorities have been investigating the place for days. However, staff of the DF visited it and found no elders. Older adults found on the site would be relocated.
