Point Roberts is an idyllic town where people feel so safe that they leave their keys in the car and their children go play on the beach or in the woods alone. But this place where "you feel like you've gone back in time 40 years" also has a geographical anomaly: although it's part of the US, to get anywhere in the rest of the country by car, locals have to drive through Canada.
