Idomeneas Galata of Chania: His contribution to the Battle of Crete and the pressures of the 1967-1974 dictatorship

Often in sports venues, club fans use the slogan “more than a team”, to emphasize the importance, social roots and social role played by their heart team. We will also use it for Idomeneas Galatas of Chania, who nowadays has football and handball departments, while he has started his effort in basketball.
