The International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) have called on countries in the region to approve regulations that extend the time for caregiving, a task that is mostly performed by women. Likewise, throughout the world, care work and social inclusion are a priority.
