“Increasing funding for our armed forces is not an expense, it's an investment”

CNN Portugal commentator Francisco Rodrigues dos Santos considers that an investment in the armed forces is fundamental because without them “there is no security or sovereignty”, which would make the existence of a democratic State governed by law impossible.
