Incredible story from the slopes of Oregon where on March 1st a skier who suffered a life-threatening injury was saved by a makeshift tourniquet. Jonathan Friedland was riding under the Outback Chairlift at Mt. Bachelor when he fell and one of his skis sliced deep into his leg. The cut severed a major artery and exposed bone.
