Is DMSO a cure-all?
DMSO is a powerful antioxidant – as well as a solvent. DMSO (Dimethyl sulfoxide) is very closely related to another better-known antioxidant: MSM (methyl sulfonyl methane). Both are byproducts of wood pulp production, extracted in the paper-making process. DMSO is a naturally occurring compound that is also found in a number of plants, including vegetables such as beets, cabbage, and asparagus.
