Police say shooting at Crandon Park was attempted suicide

Miami-Dade Sheriff’s deputies are describing a shooting incident in a parking lot at Crandon Park Saturday as an “attempted suicide.” Det. Angel Rodriguez said a male tried to shoot himself. The male was transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a hospital in stable condition, he said.
