Hashim Musa, a Pakistani terrorist involved in the Pahalgam attack, had been active in Jammu and Kashmir for the past year. Officials said that he was behind at least three earlier attacks on security forces and non-locals.

Hashim Musa alias Suleiman had been involved in two terror attacks in Kulgam including in Hallan, one in Dera Ki Gali in Rajouri and another in Poonch’s Shahsitar, it is learnt.
