JEP says no to Sister Teresa Gomez, because it is proven that she was part of paramilitary groups

Summary by HOY DIARIO DEL MAGDALENA
The Chamber for the Definition of Legal Situations of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace rejected the submission of Sister Teresa Gómez, a family member of the Castaño brothers, who sought to be admitted as a third civilian. JEP concluded that it has no competence to investigate her, as it was possible to prove in the ordinary justice system that Gómez was part of paramilitary groups such as the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia.
