Journalist arrested in Venezuela after being questioned by Diosdado Cabello due to reporting on thefts in Caracas

The National Association of Journalists (CNP) records about 12 arrests of journalists today and two enforced disappearances.

Journalist Nakary Ramos, journalist for Impact Venezuela, was arrested on Tuesday, April 8 by state security agencies, according to reports by the National College of Journalists (CNP) and the National Union of Press Workers (SNTP). Through a social media statement, the CNP, sectional Caracas, expressed concern about the situation and stated that her detention could be linked to a report by Ramos about alleged robberies in Caracas.
