Morocco launches high-speed rail line construction in Rabat

King Mohammed VI launched construction of the Kenitra-Marrakech high-speed rail line on Thursday at Rabat-Agdal station.
This project extends the existing high-speed network southwards as part of a larger national railway expansion plan.
The new line spans approximately 430 kilometers and connects Kenitra with Marrakech, serving key intermediate cities like Rabat and Casablanca.
