KLM Reopens Amsterdam-Barbados Winter Route After 3-Year Hiatus

KLM has announced a new winter schedule from its home base at Amsterdam Schiphol to Bridgetown, Barbados, to begin later this year. The route will run three times per week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays) between October 26, 2025 to March 25, 2026. KLM is essentially reopening this route, having previously operated the route in the winter seasons of 2021 and 2022.

During the winter season 2025, KLM will reopen its new tropical destination, Bridgetown (Barbados), in the Caribbean from Amsterdam and Georgetown, a novelty, in Guyana. At the beginning of the winter timetable, KLM will resume the connection between Amsterdam and Bridgetown on Barbados. The Dutch connection will serve the connection three times a week during the coming winter with a Boeing 787-9, as KLM announced. Barbados will continue the connection to Georgetown in Guyana.
