Latvia will require Russians with visas and residence permits from other EU countries to report the purpose of the visit every time they enter the country

The Saeima of Latvia has passed a law requiring citizens of countries outside the EU, NATO and the OECD to provide detailed information about the purpose of the visit before each entry into the country.

The Saeima of Latvia has adopted amendments to laws that tighten entry rules for third-country nationals, including Russia and Belarus.
