Lebanon says two killed in Israeli strikes in south

The Israeli army announced this Friday the death of a senior member of the Lebanese Hezbollah militia, the second in the last 24 hours, in an attack near the coastal town of Sidon.

On Friday, 18 April, the IDF carried out further strikes in the southern part of the neighbouring country, despite the ceasefire in force since 27 November.
