Lisbon. A 15-year-old girl is run over by a car in the Santos area. Driver fled but ended up surrendering to the PSP

The 15-year-old girl was crossing Avenida 24 de Julho when she was run over and died in the hospital. The driver fled the scene and abandoned the car in Largo do Carmo, but later surrendered to the PSP.

A hit-and-run took place on Avenida 24 de Julho shortly after midnight. Suspect turned himself in two hours later.

A 15-year-old girl picked up by a car while crossing Avenida 24 de Julho died in hospital.

The driver then surrendered himself to the Rato Police Station

A 15-year-old teenager lost her life following a run over during the night of Saturday, on Avenida 24 de Julho, in the Santos area of Lisbon. The young woman was taken to the hospital but eventually died. The driver involved in the accident fled the scene, but ended up surrendering himself to the PSP two hours later.

Suspect fled but surrendered to the authorities two hours later, according to a statement from the PSP
