A new study finds that housing affordability is improving in Canada. A report released in March by the Financial Markets Department of the National Bank of Canada looked at mortgage payments as a percentage of household income at the end of 2024 and found that the indicator fell by nearly a percentage point in the fourth quarter from the previous quarter.
