Raytheon reaches LTAMDS production milestone

Raytheon has successfully transitioned to the production phase of its LTAMDS after completing the US Army's flight test programme.

The American company indicated that LTAMDS underwent eight complex tests verifying the ability to detect various air targets in demanding conditions. These tests were to confirm the full defensive capabilities of the new system for detecting and identifying air targets.
