A source from the Alto Minho Sub-Regional Command told Lusa that the alert for the collision in the parish of Carvoeiro, in Viana do Castelo, was issued at 16:42 p.m. At 18:20 p.m., the EN308 was still closed to motor traffic. There were 18 members of the Viana do Castelo Sapadores Firefighters, INEM, Red Cross and GNR at the scene, supported by seven vehicles.
