ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. (WBTW) -- A Red Springs man who was critically hurt in a Tuesday shooting has died, the Robeson County Sheriff's Office said on Sunday. Travis C. Cummings, 37, was found injured after a shooting in the Thunder Valley community of Red Springs. He was taken to the UNC Medical Center, where he later died. Man Dies Days After Shooting Incident In Robeson Co.

One man has died several days after a shooting unfolded in Robeson County. Just after noon last Tuesday, police responded to the area of Pearsall and Children’s Road in the Thunder Valley Community of Red Springs. Upon arrival, 37-year-old Travis Cummings was found injured and transported to a hospital to be treated for critical injuries. Cummings was pronounced dead Sunday. An investigation into the incident is underway.
