Marcos Tavares became an ambassador of the SVIT program

Marcos Tavares, long-time captain of the Maribor Football Club and a familiar face of Slovenian football, became an ambassador for the national screening program SVIT after the end of his sports career. This program is intended for the early detection of colon and rectal cancer.

Former NK Maribor footballer Marcos Tavares has joined the Svit programme ambassadors. The National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ) hopes that even more people will respond to the invitation of the national programme for screening and early detection of precancerous changes and colon and rectal cancer.
