Fourteen of the world's 20 richest people saw their fortunes reversed in the first quarter of 2025, with the exception of entrepreneurs such as Warren Buffet, executive director of Berkshire Hathaway (BRK/A), whose estate increased by $24.3 billion in that period, and Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft (MSFT), whose fortune increased by $2.030 million, according to figures collected from Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
