Mining company gives over half a million to bring doctors to Timmins
Over the next three years, the Timmins and District Hospital could recruit 30 new doctors to Timmins thanks to a $600,000 grant from Agnico Eagle, the mining company that operates the Detour Lake mine 300 kilometres northeast of Timmins and is the largest gold mine in Canada.
