North Monterey votes for safer routes to schools beginning April 27

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION-TV) -- North Monterey County Schools will begin the voting process for safer routes to schools at the end of the month. The Transportation Agency of Monterey County (TAMC) is partnering with North Monterey County schools to use $1 million in funding to create routes that would provide new routes for students who walk and bike to school.
