The New Jersey Department of Health has confirmed an H5 avian flu infection in a feral cat from Hunterdon County. The cat showed signs of severe illness, including nervous-system problems, and was euthanized. The U.S. Department of Agriculture Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service confirmed the case.
