Mount Pleasant council unanimously pass animal ordinances, going into effect May 1
On Tuesday, April 15, the Mount Pleasant city council and Mayor Tracy Craig unanimously passed four additions to the Animals Code of Ordinance for the city. Over the past several months, citizens have stepped up during public comments to notify the council of their concerns about the overflow of strays in the city, county, and at local animal shelters.
