Burlington council gives go ahead for grant application to fund Main Street reconstruction

The chance at $12 million to resurface Main Street from South Street to Cascade Bridge may be a long shot for the City of Burlington, but the city council voted to take their chances Wednesday morning.

Myerstown Borough Council unanimously approved an agreement with the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Lebanon to undergo a project improving South Railroad Street with up to $180,000 in Community Development Block Grant funding at its meeting Tuesday.
