North Korean police have arrested an official who removed information about a defector from North Korea from state records, Daily NK reports. Kim Jong-un's regime sees this as treason. The official did so because he received a $2,000 bribe from the defector's family. Information that they are relatives of the defector would close off their chances of social and professional advancement.
