National Day of Prayer service set in Burley

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May.

Thursday, May 1, the Ennis Ministerial Alliance will host a downtown gathering to observe the National Day of Prayer. It is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Minnie McDowal Park at the corner of N. Dallas and W. Knox around the gazebo. Seating is limited, though many provide their own. The public intercession is about an hour in length.

A 30-minute prayer gathering will take place from at 12:15 p.m. Thursday at the north entrance of the Cowley Courthouse in Winfield for National Day of Prayer.
